Lore

Lore represents how much the character knows about Garou history, laws, customs; about spirits, umbral travel and umbral realms; about the current state of the Garou nation and its politics. Lore is not something that comes naturally to many, and must be taught by elder Garou, powerful spirits or knowledgeable Past Lives. Each Garou is trained more in the Lore associated with his Auspice than that of other Auspices, as this is what is expected of him.

Typically, Lore is used when a player wants to know if his character knows of an obscure piece of knowledge, but also includes reciting the Silver Record (Galliard), judging a wayward Garou (Philodox) or finding a way through the Umbra (Theurge). This is normally tested in front of a Storyteller.
