This is the first online draft of the Bead Werewolf rules. The setting and concepts are those of the Werewolf: the Apocalypse line from White-Wolf (see Bibliograpy for more information). However, Bead Werewolf provides mechanics (IMO) more suited to the live setting.
What is Bead Werewolf?
Although White Wolf have published Laws of the Wild, I feel the systems therein remain clumsy and longwinded. This is particularly true of combat - I wanted combat to be a lot quicker. I hope I have eliminated a lot of the problems. Much of the complication remains in Gifts, Rites and Fetishes - the sheer numbers are staggering - but by printing the rules for these printed on the character sheet some of these remaining complications may be eliminated.
Does it work?
I don't know. I am waiting to see the results of the first playtest, which I hope will be early 2003 (see Events).
